Anchor Inn Supper Club - Garber

For a small town-divine restaurant this place is quite good. boon (owners/kok/bartender) is super hard to understand (vietnamese, I think) but is.

This small-town restaurant is surprisingly good. The owner, Boon, who also works in the kitchen and as a bartender, is friendly but a bit difficult to understand (I think he is Vietnamese). Half of our group ordered burgers while the other half ordered the massive tacos (Taco Dosday). My burger was delicious, but I couldn't resist trying a bite of my friend's huge taco. Boon mentioned that he will be starting an oriental buffet on Thursday evenings in the fall. Next time we are in town and happen to pass by, we will definitely stop in to say hello to Boon and enjoy some good eats in this charming little town.

If you're looking for some excitement, this is the place to go. Boone keeps the energy high and there's never a dull moment.

After a day of kayaking, I visited the restaurant with friends and family. The owner graciously opened early to accommodate our hunger. Despite the rush, the service was prompt and we were all served quickly. The burgers were fantastic and we were all very impressed. Thank you Anchor Inn for a great experience!
