Based on an advice from my host, i visited the Briesta several times while staying in Las Tricias and enjoyed it every time. It is nicely located in the middle of a forrest area and despite next to the street the place is very quite and waiters provided a very friendly welcome. The food was excellent- baked goat cheese with Mojo and the fish of the day, but dont forget to order the papas arrugatas as a side dish. Since i had to drive back to ATHOS campus and thinking about the many twists and turns of the road, i could unfortunately not try their wine selection. But it is definitely worth to take the effort coming here. I will certainly come back during my next stay at La Palma.

Typical tourist trap. Newly renovated, so it looks nice. High prices, medium taste, very small portions. Service is not very caring and not very fast, but that can be common on most islands.
