We had great fish here at a good price, in a very nice environment. At noon the restaurant was almost empty, but this quickly changed a bit later and the place was full. Communication in English was a bit difficult, but we managed and got quickly exactly what we ordered. View all feedback.
What Jimena Sauceda doesn't like about Ribmar:
Situated on the main road this is a handy stop off for a quick lunch. I had the grilled cuttlefish served with salad and potatoes and my husband had a large, tasty entrecote steak with the same accompaniments. The food was perfectly adequate (though a little on the chewy side), service was good and the meal, along with two beers, 3 sauces and bread came to only 26 euros, so very good value. Traveling by car and discovered place by occasion. Ordered fish soup and three appetizers (fried octopus, baby squids, shrimps with garlic). Food came with the bread and some dips. All meals were decent size, fresh and nicely cooked. Service is quick and attentive. Enjoyed the place and recommend to others.
Very nice Restaurante with some tables overlooking the Atlantic ocean, approx. 800ft above ocean. Food was very good, we both had steak and it was excellent, cooked to perfection. had a half bottle of house wine and it was very good. All this for only 31.89 euros, had to beat the price for the quality of the food. Would highly recommend.

Parking is not easy here and it is a bit out of the way. This is a cavernous place that was pretty empty the night we visited which rather too away from the ambience. The welcome was warm and the waiter was very pleasant and helpful. He seemed a little put out that I couldn't finish my main meal but the portions are gargantuan. The starters were very good fish soup and prawns with garlic were great . I ordered a steak which was massive, very tender and cooked rare as I had asked. The chips were very good too but the sauce was rather viscous and gloopy which was disappointing. So a tasty substantial meal but nothing special. Later on it seemed popular with the local families so I suspect it helps to know what they are good at. The bill was very reasonable but I probably won't go back there if we return to the Garachico area. Like other places they do a seafood risotto but it has to be pre ordered and as we hadn't booked we didn't get to try it.
The food was too rich, fresh fish with quality and quite reasonable price. We ordered grilled seafood, came from the house and beer pilsen, the account was euros. As annotation I'll say it took a long time to serve our food since we asked for it. Everything else is fine.
