Contribute FeedbackAfter 3 days heavy but very tasty Lyonnaise food, it was a pleasant surprise to find fresh local ingredients with a French/Asian fusion presentation. the atmosphere was a small key and welcoming for non-French speaking guests. the waiter and bartender were more than happy to explain the menu and let us feel the cozy eating with the locals. when they travel in East France, they do not skip gap. it is a real city with delightful people and amazing culinary experiences.
We came into gap today and were looking for a nice restaurant and were invited by vadim to come to le bistrot gapencais. vadim, his brother and cousin know how hospitality should be and does everything to make them welcome. the chef is excellent and we enjoyed both eating and atmosphere very much. that's our first time in gap, but that made us fall in love with the city. definitiw recommended!
A small bistro, which is a quite small menu (although there are specials) that is simple, but attractive. the atmosphere is welcoming and there is a good choice of crying (and around) from which you can choose. I had the big deracote that was boiled to perfection and a beautiful bottle of red (approx. 15 pounds). patrick the owner adds the last ingredient with his good humor and know. try it!
