The atmosphere is really cozy and pleasant. However, there was a slight disappointment with the food. My dish didn't match what was described on the menu: a spelt risotto with leeks, but without the leeks, and with endives and broccoli—clearly not for everyone. This lack of consistency was quite frustrating and somewhat spoiled my meal. On the other hand, my partner was delighted, with special mention for the cooking and quality of the meat and the mega profiterole
There were 17 of us for lunch on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The menu was very enjoyable and the food was well-prepared. The service was provided by two outstanding young people. Thank you to them. The atmosphere was pleasant.
The restaurant boasts a warm and authentic atmosphere, with a certain old-fashioned charm, although a few updates would be welcome (the banquette is torn, in particular). The culinary experience is quite mixed. The daily special starter, a perfect egg with cream of mushroom soup, is a great success, as is the trout from the Hautes-Alpes region served with vegetables—a sophisticated and flavorful dish. The dessert, the Ephemeral Sphere, is a must-try: delightfully nostalgic and truly delicious. However, several disappointments mar the overall experience: an overly acidic wine with a pronounced sulfite taste, an andouillette sausage drowning in mustard, and a bone marrow that was sparsely garnished and undercooked. There 's also a disconnect between the restaurant 's image (especially the Master Restaurateur designation at the entrance) and the actual food, which doesn 't always live up to expectations. Finally, the value for money remains questionable: around €100 for two, which seems high considering the overall experience.
