I went to this restaurant on Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 before leaving Seoul, but unfortunately, it was closed. I ended up eating at Salady in front of the station instead. The information on Naver Maps was not helpful in this situation. View all feedback.

After a few days at sea surviving on just fries, salad, and pasta as vegan travelers who don't speak Korean, we were starving. We decided to ask our AirBnb host for a recommendation for vegan bibimbap and ended up at a simple, sweet restaurant near the train station. The bibimbap was absolutely delicious and filled with a variety of ingredients including spinach, beansprouts, purple yams, sea vegetables, radishes, and cucumbers. It was a wonderful meal and a welcome change from our limited food options in the area. It was a great way to fuel up before catching our train.
I was disappointed to find that the information on Naver Maps was not accurate. I arrived at the restaurant on Tuesday afternoon around 1 pm hoping to grab a bite to eat before heading to Seoul, only to discover that the place was closed. As a result, I ended up eating at Salady, which is located in front of the train station.
After a couple of days surviving on only french fries, salad and pasta on the ocean, we were famished as vegan travelers who didn't speak Korean. When we reached Gangneung train station, we consulted our AirBnb host for a vegan bibimbap recommendation. The restaurant we visited was modest and pleasant, and the bibimbap was absolutely delicious. It was filled with a variety of vegetables such as spinach, bean sprouts, purple asparagus, sea vegetables, radish, and cucumber. It was a much-needed and satisfying meal, especially since we had trouble finding other vegan options in the area. Having a proper meal before boarding our train was truly a great experience.
