Taste of Hampi - Gangavati

The atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect for its location. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. The restaurant has a trendy, laid-back vibe with great music playing. During our visit, there was a jam session in the evening featuring a variety of musical styles. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again on my next trip to Hampi!

This is not the type of place you would want to visit during your vacation. The food was not good for inexperienced diners and the Hookah was just average. Overall, there is nothing positive to say about this restaurant.

Taste of Hampi, is a great place to chill out, during the hot sunny days. Great music, good vibes devine food. Taste of Hampi is also a guest house, so if you want somewhere central to stay, this is where you want to be : Lots of international people, so you're bound to find someone from your own country. Great service, too!

Upon first impression, the restaurant appeared to be quite lovely, with comfortable low seats, padded backs, and a canopy of trees providing shade from the sun. However, I was disappointed by the subpar food and service. I ordered a chicken sandwich based on the picture in the menu, which showed a delicious-looking roll with grilled chicken and salad inside. What I received was four triangles of unappetizing sweet white bread filled with bland chicken mayo and a cucumber salad on the side. Additionally, the sandwich had tough bits of gristle and bones that made each bite unpleasant. I could only bring myself to eat half of it. When it came time to pay the bill, I decided to provide some feedback about the misleading menu picture and the disappointing sandwiches. The waiter passed this along to the manager, who was unapologetic and blamed me for misunderstanding the menu. Despite trying to explain that the image should match the actual product served to customers, the waiter insisted that I was at fault for misinterpreting the image. Frustrated, I left a negative review instead of continuing the argument. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I would caution against having any complaints taken seriously.

On the 2nd day of our stay we thought to visit this place. The ambience is good. We ordered starters coke. Chilly Chicken was not where near the taste. Somehow it packed and waited for about 1 hour to come to the main course. The service was extremely badly delayed. Maybe because of the low season as an excuse they call everywhere. We ordered Masala chicken rots. Masala Chicken had no Masala in him chicken pieces were hardly found in the plate. Butter roti was kind of okay. I also thought to order something else, but because of the delayed service thought to skip. The total bill was about 500 rs, but did not find any taste at TASTE OF HAMPI.
