Williams started by me and David Parry in Aug 1990 and has always to my knowledge been an English speaking pub, all our personnel even in the early days were from Uk, Ausie, Kiwi or other English speaking nations and the concept has always been to be as English as poss in a foreign country. Therefore one can not say at last an English speaking pub, it's been there for 22yrs. View all feedback.

Great spot for mainly excellent service , Maija, good beer selections and welcoming atmosphere. Pub food to decent standard
Avoid this place. Claims to have the AW deal with hamburger and a beer in a package. But if you order a hamburger and a beer but don’t mention ”AW” (like all your friends around you have done according to the pub) you will be charged almost double the price. They also added extra beers to our bill. Luckily we all remember what we ordered. There are way better bars and pubs in Uppsala (e.g. Palermo, Churchill Arms or go for them instead. They lost us as customers for sure, and they could easily have changed the bill and we would have been back). Arrogant bartender woman.
Great little pub with a wide range of local and imported beers, great food and good value. Anywhere that hasHP Sauce (non Brits, look it up) is all right in my book. A great place to lose an evening...
A pub with prime location, great selection of beers, cozy interior and friendly staff will draw crowds. So be prepared for the noise! Outdoor seating was available on the other side of the street, but true to the stern regulations in Sweden, no alcohol was on offer there!
It's situation is pleasant and unique near the twin churches (cathedral and holy trinity) and just a bock from the graveyard, it is in a quiet part of town with two restaurants nearby and not all that much else. Surrounded by trees and bushes and just one minute from the university's main hall, it has an atmosphere all of its own. It's also very close to the interestingly named Martin Luther King square with its characteristic sculpture. The beer selection is out of this world and the bar staff are very knowledgeable.
