What AllyG doesn't like about Kincaid's Fish, Chop Steakhouse:
My husband and his family love this place but I will not be going back. Food was meh. Waiter almost ignored us and forgot our bread. Table position in the sun was terrible. Chocolate molten cake was awful. View all feedback.
The service was top notch. Our server Neesha sp? was always ahead of our needs without being obtrusive. The food was high quality and served timely and hot. There's nothing about our evening that could have been better. We had cocktails, appetizers, champagne, wine, entrees, dessert and nothing disappointed. But the whole evening was made perfect by our server Neesha (apologies for misspelling). Thank you Kincaids for a great evening! P.S. the ambiance was also great, right on the water's edge with plenty of window views and noise level was not an issue.
Great view! Great service! That atmosphere was nice and the food was delicious! We went with the special three course meal which for us was a Caesar salad, prime rib with mashed potatoes and veggies then a dessert for $49. Great deal!!!
Very busy for a Monday night. Must have been short staffed. Very nice and accommodating wait staff, but service was very slow until the crowd thinned out consisderably. Salad, salmon and desserts were delicious. Hamburger was supposed to be medium rare and came out well done and dry. That was a big disappointment.
Friends from SF and the Peninsula met up for a Friday night dinner. It's a perfect in between location for us with a nice menu and spectacular view. Special props to security staff in the parking lot for telling us about his favorite drinks, appetizers and desserts. He was delightful. I had no qualms about safety in the parking lot but it was great to have a chance to talk with him.
I appreciated the reception staff's willingness to accommodate a quiet corner location for our table. The dining area was quite full and yet we were able to have meaningful conversations. Nitpick #1. One diner's request for parmesan cheese was forgotten. Nitpick #2. Why is it that the appetizer bread provided by Horatio's on San Leandro consistently tastes better and fresh?. Our service was both good and timely.
