Mcdonald's - Galveston

This is the best McDonald's I have eaten at in quite some time. Prompt friendly service. The young man on the front counter was helpful and patient with the kids that were with me and didn't rush them, even though they were very indecisive. The food order was accurate and freshly prepared.

I mean we got food, but I it wasn't exactly what I paid for. I ordered a sausage egg mcmuffin and ended up with a chicken biscuit. Also did not get ANY of the sauces we ordered and we ordered food and sauce for six. THAT'S A CHICK-FIL-A SAUCE in the photo.

Nice clean bathroom near the beach. McDonald's is great because the staff won't give you any trouble if you just use the restroom and leave. The doors were not locked.

Went through the drive thru, service was very slow. Took a while before the team member came over the speaker to even take the order. The entire process took over 15 minutes and all we had were drinks and a french fry order. Only one vehicle was before us in the line. When we got to the window things were still slow. Our order was accurate. However to be a popular location, I would seriously think the speed of service would be better, regardless of the day or the time. Which was around 3pm.

Went through the drive thru around 4:00. Took forever to get through with 3 cars ahead of us. Ordered two drinks and large fries. Sweet tea was great. They only had diet coke no other diet options for drinks. While at the window the server was busy talking to someone else and I had to wave my arm and call hey to get his attention for salt and ketchup. He got salt but not ketchup and continued talking. Once more I had to wave and call for the ketchup. Finally we got it and I drove off but immediately reached in for a fry that was soft and cold. McDonald 's used to be known for their fries but not any longer.
