Koop's Bbq Kitchen Catering - Galveston

I was visiting Galveston and found this joint. This is a simple setup. Order pay wait a few minutes. I had a chopped brisket sandwich. It was really really good. Nice smoke . Great flavor! The joint has meats on Wednesday and Saturday I think it was. Hi and they are really good too. Tender melt in your mouth BBQ AT ITS SIMPLE BEST. The folks at Koops are friendly and just super nice. We also had the spicy corn. Try it . Koops has the potion tap to get busy. Plan accordingly.

Absolutely fantastic overall. Friendly service by the lovely owners and their staff; Clean environment; And most importantly, DELICIOUS food. Even had an option for a vegetarian like myself, the grilled cheese sandwich. The spicy corn was also super tasty, and worked both as a garnish for my sandwich and as a side on it's own. Super tasty, great people, and you can smell the smokey BBQ from outside!

I got a turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes. The turkey was pretty good! The mashed potatoes were only okay. They were very smooth (almost tasted boxed) and seasoned with pepper. I have also had their Mac and cheese- which tastes like queso and noodles. That was good. Overall it was a great experience and cute restaurant! Galveston only has a few barbecue spots and this one has done us well! They only have street parking as well. This was not a detractor, but if they are busy you might have to walk a little. I have never not been able to find a spot.

Juicy, meaty, fall off the bone slap yo momma bbq! HUGE portions and I mean HUGE! Flavor is so good! Caught my cousin trying her first bite of rib and her and her husbands face says it all. The bbq sauce is perfect tang and peppery. Get there early because they sell out FASSST! I got the 3 meat plate, ribs, brisket and pulled pork! YUMMO! But like literally y'all the ribs are fall off the bone good! The brisket could be cut with a spoon, with the fat perfectly marbled in with the meat. Delicious!

We will be back. This place was a pot of gold on the la fittes treasure map! Delicious brisket and brisket elote was crazy good! Get here early!
