Henrys Mexican - Galveston

As a frequent traveler, I prefer to avoid tourist traps and seek out local favorites. I was fortunate to discover Henry's early on during my three-week trip to Galveston. I ended up visiting several times and even picked up lunch for my entire team on one occasion. Henry's offers such a diverse menu that I never repeated a single dish. Whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there's something for everyone at Henry's! It's a family-owned establishment with a hardworking team, and during my stay, I had the pleasure of getting to know them a bit. They are a wonderful family who truly deserves your support, and you'll definitely leave satisfied!

Everything was delicious and affordable. I enjoyed a variety of tasty dishes, but the barbacoa burrito was the standout. You must try it with their green jalapeño sauce; it's fantastic! The place was clean, and the customer service was excellent. I'm so glad I decided to stop here.

During my first visit, I was warmly welcomed by a lovely young lady who was incredibly sweet and friendly. She truly made me feel like part of the family, which was evident as everyone else around me felt the same way. The service was excellent, and the food was tasty and satisfying. I highly recommend the breakfast burrito; it's a massive portion! The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting.

Delicious breakfast burritos and very filling! herself had a vegetarian burrito for my vegetarian teenager and she loved it! we had breakfast here two days in a row because they were so good.

These people are so very sweet. One of the men was outside and walked in behind us and handed us the menu. Then the lady took our order she was very attentive and super sweet. She even gave me a real rose. (It's mother's day BUT I'm not a mother. She didn't even ask just handed me the rose. I felt so special and happy. I would highly recommend eating here. :
