Chilaca Mexican Grill - Galveston

I absolutely adore this restaurant! You can't beat the amount and quality of the food for the price. I usually order the Chilaca chicken dish with extra chicken, which is only an extra dollar! The portion is so large that it ends up being two meals for me, all for under $10. It's an incredible value, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

This restaurant was just what this neighborhood needed, and it did not disappoint. The food is fantastic; everything was seasoned to perfection. I tried both the beef and the Chilaca chicken, and while the Chilaca chicken was my favorite, the beef was my granddaughter's top choice. Either way, you can't go wrong. Oh, and I should mention that the staff is polite and efficient!

I was first because your restaurant was damaged shortly after. But it was the best Taco salad bowl I ever had and cannot wait to come back!!!

Galveston has been needing a place like this! On the opening day, I actually ate there for lunch (dine-in) and dinner (take-out). The Chilaca chicken and sauce is pretty amazing! I will definitely be back.
