Have been to this restaurant twice and I have to say that me and my family enjoy the food and service. It does take a little while if you need extra condiments or a refill but overall the waiters are very nice and help out as much as they can. We have been to breakfast and dinner and both times we were treated great. If your are staying at the hotel kids 6 and under eat free with a paid adult entree so that is a plus... View all feedback.
What Cara Funk doesn't like about Cafe In The Park:
This restaurant is extremely dirty. Even if it were free, it would still be disgustingly bad. For $25, one would expect to eat well. The food was not fresh and the bread was dry. Everything was at room temperature. This is definitely the worst place I have ever been to. The chicken nuggets were edible, but barely comparable to McDonald's. View all feedback.
Hands down the best breakfast I've had in Galveston.
We dined here multiple times over our 3 night stay. The first waiter we had was not very personable and extremely abrupt especially for breakfast. Thankfully, William stepped in and saved the day setting us up for a wonderful day. At lunch Aureliakept the wonderful service going and her recommendations helped us truly enjoy ourselves. The next morning we had Aurelia serveus again which helped us stay relaxed and made for a great start. The last morning we requested William again so that we couldthank him for helping get our vacation back on track when someone else had tried to derail it. I will definitely be dropping infor breakfast or lunch when we head to UTMB Galveston for medical reasons in the future. William and Aurelia are the type ofstaff places like this need to keep happy because they make your guests happy.
I have visited this restaurant twice and I must say that both my family and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. The wait staff can be a bit slow when it comes to getting extra items or refills, but they are very friendly and helpful overall. We have dined here for both breakfast and dinner and were treated exceptionally well on both occasions. A bonus for us is that children under 6 eat for free with a paying adult during dinner, which is perfect for our little ones.

The food at this restaurant is terrible. Even if it were free, it would still be low quality. At $25 a plate, one would expect much better. The food was not fresh, the bread and cakes were dry, and everything was served at room temperature. This is the worst place I have ever visited. The only edible item was the chicken nuggets, which were almost as good as McDonald's.
