Place was icy cold,dull and dinghy, no atmosphere, unbelievably cold. . Food was awful. Frozen fish, very watery and soggy inside the batter, chips not very nice. Alarmingly, during the time we were in the barmaid took on 2 separate times took pints of lager into the kitchen! Only advice, avoid at all costs. View all feedback.
Great pub and restaurant. Friendly staff and customers.drank hear regularly back in 70s/80s..still now and again.
Brilliant hidden save good food friendly atmosphere
Soup was lovely, Sunday roast was lovely plenty of it, sundae was lovely, taken here for mother's day.
Meal was fantastic..Good size portions, everything freshly cooked. Only downpoint was the long wait for our meal after it was ordered , we were advised that it would be a wait as place was busy. Recommended for a visit
