We were told that breakfast is the bomb too. Trying french toast and country fried steak next!

The crinkle-... read more This is a serene and welcoming spot on Route 66. The burgers are fantastic—I tried one with green chilis, bacon, and cheddar, and it was delicious. The crinkle-cut fries were also great. Everything here is top-notch. The breakfast is incredible as well; be sure to try the French toast and their roasted steak on your next visit!

The “hole in the wall” aspect is somehow a cover: for instance, they take all major credit cards, including American Express. Still a fantastic, inexpensive place to have breakfast or brunch. I had the special (Huevos Rancheros) and they were great.

The chicken fr... read more Ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast, but didn't want regular gravy on it asked if I could have it smothered with green chili sauce instead! The chicken fried steak breakfast came with two eggs(any style), hash browns, two pancakes, and coffee I was stuffed when I exited the restaurant! The green chili smother chicken fried steak was excellent, service was great, I probably had five cups of coffee and never once did I have to ask for it!

It seems like the portion sizes have decreased a little, but to be fair, they were quite excessive before. You still receive plenty of delicious food served by amazing people. Their homemade tortillas are a must-try, and the burritos are fantastic. Definitely deserves a five-star rating!
