Reviews - Sammy C's
Reviews summary
Tucked on Coal Street, this memorabilia-filled bar delivers lively, sports-centric energy, cheap drinks and big screens—perfect for a date night or watching the game. The menu divides opinion: standout items like crisp wings and well-fried fish-and-chips sit alongside burned pizza, underseasoned burgers and occasional raw dough. Service can be slow or uneven, and a 4% card fee applies. Expect a vibrant night out but bring patience (and maybe cash) if you want a reliably good meal.

The food here is quite tasty, although the prices can vary, with some dishes being somewhat pricey. Overall, there’s a good balance. Keep in mind that they charge a 4% fee for credit card payments, so bringing cash is a good idea. The atmosphere and decor are vibrant and appealing, and I can see it becoming quite busy in the evenings. I would definitely return the next time I'm in the area and in need of a meal. What Marbella A dislikes about Sammy C's:
I was kinda excited to come check out this bar , because I heard is amazing and beautiful and full of memorabilia . We'll all I have to say is yes it is beautiful but should be turned into a museum so people don't waste their money there , like the food is a joke !!!!!! I would never recommend this place not even to my worst enemy . For someone to serve a burger burned and with no salt or flavor or a raw pizza dough... View all feedback.

The service was incredibly slow. We waited quite a while for the bill, and afterward, we were overlooked once more. We had to approach several staff members for help with settling our bill, but they appeared uninterested in assisting us. To be honest, we should have just left. The food is average, but given the prices, we anticipated better quality. On a positive note, the drinks are reasonably priced.
I got a rather unpleasant reply when I asked about their dog policy. They mentioned that dogs are only allowed on the patio, which worked for us, but they insisted it was too cold for us to sit outside. It was only 69 degrees!

For someone to serve a burger burned and with no salt or flavor or a raw pizza dough I mean you should not be allowed to serve food period . I mean wow , probably One of the worst places I ever ever eaten at . If I was the owner I would be trying to find new cooks instead of walking around the place like he's a celebrity .
