In the heart of Gallup, this restaurant has garnered mixed reviews, highlighting its Mediterranean-style sandwiches and generous portions. While some patrons enjoyed the delicious gyros and fries, others were disappointed by stale buns and unremarkable burger experiences. Service is typically friendly, though not exceptionally fast. Unique offerings like chips and salsa while waiting add a nice touch. However, diners expressed a desire for more healthy options on the menu. Overall, it seems like a decent choice for those seeking a break from fast food, despite some kitchen inconsistencies.

Was Flora Olson at Doner Drives a mag?
We were searching for a place to eat in Gallup on a Saturday and noticed the parking lot wasn’t very full. We thought, "Why not give it a try?" We're really glad we did! I ordered the gyro, and it was delicious—it was a nice change of pace for Gallup. I also heard that their burger and fries are fantastic! View all feedback.

What A T dislikes about Doner Drives:
Awful ? really bad food, customer service it 's not the greatest, they need to be more knowledgeable of the food and explain better the components. I end up with a spicy sausage, that was getting lost inside of the bun and extra dry chicken tenders , that taste it fishy . I can 't eat spicy food, end up wasting my money. Also got a pineapple shake, which sound it so good, totally the opposite of what I was expecting is... View all feedback.

Very disappointing. I wouldn 't recommend this place to anyone.

Delicious Mediterranean-style sandwiches that are quite large! The service is not lightning-fast, but they provided us with chips and salsa to enjoy while we waited.

Really mediocre food. Recipes for the donërs aren't really even close to what a donër is. Go somewhere else if you want a donër. Maybe the burgers are okay.

Earlier today, a guy started a small fire in the drive-thru, and I had to douse it with the Pepsi I had just ordered. Despite dealing with this chaotic situation, the crew still managed to prepare an amazing sandwich for me. I'm not sure if a gyro qualifies as a sandwich, but it was huge and absolutely delicious. Great job, everyone!

First time in today with my husband and glad we gave it a go. He had a gyro, ordered me fries with my donor salad. Unfortunately, the fries were the best I have had in forever. Servings were generous enough that they were lunch and dinner. It was a nice break from the fast food joints we hit in town doing errands. Was a couple of bucks more than our usual, but not bad. Not 'fast food (no place that hands you chips and salsa when you order is fast food) but not slow, which I appreciated. Didn 't feel rushed, service was good. Do wish there were a few more healthy options, but the menu makes sense for the area. Trying their falafel next.
