Very small breakfast spot with limited seating. We went on a busy Sunday so larger parties were on a wait, however our party of two offered to sit at the counter and got right in. What Ronnie T doesn't like about The Cracked Egg Cafe:
We were staying right outside of Atlantic City and looking for a breakfast place to eat, and this one had good reviews. I am not going to bash the place because it was a cute little place where the locals in town go to meet up and shoot the breeze, and that?s cool with me. There is plenty of parking out front, not too many seats inside so get there early. The service was pleasant, the waitress was nice, but the food... View all feedback.

View: Big parking lot and a small pool in front. Signs of their success posted could easily be seen from the road. First Impression: Chef Owen is behind the counter which one would see his cooking in every step. Waitresses seems like family members. They are warm and friendly, our waitress was Melanie. Food: Menu is prepared with adequate explained BUT, menu items could be divided in order to catch the eye easier and choose rapidly. Order is taken immediately; food arrived on time. Taste was simple and perfect. All the photos would give you a glimpse of the food if you check them up here. Check: As two hungry people, we paid $j30 for three dishes including coffees. One will pay at the cashier for the check. Overall: I would strongly recommend this experience to whom would pass by North Shore Road.

We are from Germany and were on a two weeks roundtrip through California, Arizona, Utah and Nevada. Sequoia national Forest was our last stage before heading back to SFO. We got the recommendation at Corral Creek Lodge were we stayed and went there for breakfast twice. This is why: The Cracked Egg Cafe looked purely original to us, not at all touristy. It has its very own character and that is what we almost enjoyed the most about it : It does not even try to be perfect in a mainstream way it is just perfectly itself. Other than that the food is of really good quality (I had the oatmeal twice , my daughter pancakes which were really fluffy inside and slightly crispy outside and the Denver omelet at our 2nd visit, which was also great and was big enough to serve us (the rest of it as a lunch pack for our hike that day. Comment on the picture: We had never seen these bug fans before : They didn 't have a lot of work to do, but we liked them.
