The food here is outstanding, and the staff is wonderful. You order at the counter and then take your food to your table. This is the first restaurant we've come across that features a peanut butter sandwich on the menu—how cool is that? This place has officially become our go-to spot every time we head north, and that's quite often! View all feedback.
What Josh McCoy dislikes about Mcclure’s:
Went on a motorcycle ride went in and ordered 2 small ice cream cones. Took them 16 mins to get us the ice cream cones. Sit there patiently laughing how long it took. View all feedback.
The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the restaurant was very clean! We will definitely visit again when we pass through Gallipolis.
The service was a bit slow, but this is definitely the best place for cheese sticks. Just pay attention, as one girl took my order while another brought out my food.
Always very friendly and tasty. I’ve yet to find something I didn’t enjoy! Kid-friendliness: A variety of kid-friendly options. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps on both sides of the entrance.
Truthfully, I would rate McClures a 4.5 or so. It appears to be a family owned place; very well taken care of. It is clean and well decorated. The food variety is pretty extensive including cold brews. The service was friendly and fast. We would visit again. P.S. my husband says the fried bologna is delicious.
Best footlong around. Drove 35 minutes to get one
