The port... read more The restaurant has a dark and quiet, relaxing atmosphere with friendly service. The prices seem reasonable, especially with their 3-roll lunch special. The portions are large, particularly the steak teriyaki noodles. My partner and I enjoy getting 3 sushi rolls and 1 steak teriyaki noodle dish to share, and we often have leftovers to take home. This will be our new favorite spot for quick lunches.

I have tried eel at upscale restaurants in major cities, but this place had the best tasting eel and the most generous portion. And all at half the price of a fancy city restaurant. I also tried the salad with seaweed, which was good. The atmosphere may be lacking, but if great food is your priority, this is the place to go.

My only complaint was the atmosphere. With all the blinds closed and a complete lack of decoration, it made me feel claustrophobic. From the outside, it looked like the restaurant was closed. With the quality of the food, if they focused on improving the ambiance with some Japanese paintings or photos on the walls and a friendlier waiter, they could easily charge double the price!
