Wasantha's Sri Lanka Cuisine - Galle

Anyone who stays in unawatuna should visit this place. whether for dinner or for cooking or both, we can recommend everything. we had here the most beautiful day in sri lanka: what a loving family!

I visited wasantha's cooking class today and spent a wonderful two and a half hours learning how to cook the most delicious and authentic sri lanka. wasantha took care of it and proudly shared her recipes with us and it was a joy to cook with it. I would recommend the cooking course (or even just one visit in their restaurant) to everyone. whatanthas eating is the best I had in sri lanka.

That was a very funny cooking class! We have learned a lot and made so many different types of curries and in the end we got 20 original recipes. As Sri Lankans themselves, these recipes are authentic and tastes like my mother's kitchen. We came and ate here twice before the cooking class and loved the family and talk to them every time so we decided to do the cooking class and it was one of our highlights of the trip! The family is so friendly, generous and has the sweetest dogs.

Truly magic cooking class with a truly magical family! Definitely the highlight of our trip, in addition to the 5 delicious curries meal that we got to eat at the end of the class. So much love and care went into each pot. Meals are totally customisable to your preferences and spice level. Can't recommend this authentic and traditional cooking class enough!

Excellent cookery class. We loved going to the market to select the vegetables we wanted to cook. The food was amazing. Wasantha and her family are excellent hosts and very very knowledgeable. If you are in Unawantuna I would definitely recommend this cookery class and restaurant.
