Nana Lu's lasagna, Dee Dee's Tortellini or some great calf options! Even salad and bread before meal is dangerously good; be careful not to fill it first! Now this place is an authentic Italian restaurant. From music to decor. And the food... OMG best ever. The food is worth it. The price of portions is perfect. And dessarts should die. This is the place where you have to eat.

This place is like a quiet small slice of Italian culture, which is embedded in the cozy city of Galena in a hill. The atmosphere reminds some of the Italian restaurants of places like Chicago. The menu is friendly for those who are not too adventurous, but also makes food that can satisfy the desire of those who are used in Italian local restaurants. I personally would like to see some seafood pasta options, but I can understand that you need to work with the country around you in a sense. The servers are very friendly and welcoming. I wish I remember the name of my server because it was one of the best servers I had in a very long time because it had the right balance of attention, friendliness and gave us the guests time to discuss with us. This place is worth a visit because you like the atmosphere, service or food (hopefully all three).

If at all in Galena Vinny Vanucchi's is a must! The food was some of the best Italian cuisine we ever had the staff and the atmosphere are amazing!! prices are not fair. For everything you from amazing food to wonderful service and everything to go with it, we will definitely return

Very nice cozy Italian place to eat...their garlic bread and fried ravioli is finger licking good...they are open for dining and have a great selection with decent portion size...try it when in galena...
