Contribute FeedbackOne Eleven Main restaurant offers an interesting and varied menu, with a standout smoked trout appetizer and creative cocktails. While the service was excellent and the ambiance was nice, some diners found the food to be average or disappointing, with dishes like pot roast and ribeye not meeting expectations. On the other hand, Oskars in Waldorf impressed visitors with its elaborate Sunday brunch buffet featuring a smoked salmon bar and attentive customer service, even going the extra mile to satisfy customers. While some reviewers noted issues with reservations and prices, the overall dining experience at both establishments seemed positive, especially for returning customers who appreciated the large portions, gluten-free options, and delicious dishes offered.
Not enough there to recommend. It has potential, buts needs attention
Fried cod was outstanding a very good value. Service was excellent
Interesting, varied menu. We especially loved the smoked trout appetizer. Fun, creative cocktails. Glad we tried it, but I’m not sure it was completely worth the price.
Went as a date. Service was good. Food was good but there was not anything spectacular. Menu was somewhat restrictive. Was relatively quiet for a Friday night. Made for a nice evening though.
Typically this is my favorite restaurant when visiting Galena. Lately we have noticed the menu does not change as often as it used to. We also had a very new server, and while pleasant, was not informed about specials or the food in general. We visited another restaurant in Galena on our visit this time and were very impressed with the food selection, quality and service. I'll give One Eleven another chance, but I'm on the fence as to whether it is still a have to stop when we visit Galena.
