Galena Brewing Company

During President Grant's birthday, I visited two days in a row. It was busy with a lively crowd on Saturday, not so much on Sunday. Nevertheless, the service was pretty good. I had some sandwiches every day. They were good, better than most breweries. The bartender, Chris, hit some local beers on my taste. They were excellent. If I hadn't lived on the other side of the country, I would be here regularly.

Great service, friendly was knowledgeable about the beers etc. Nice atmosphere. Good food and beer selection. Giant pretzel for the table was soft, chewy and delicious. Great place to stop in the middle of your day in downtown Galena for a snack and a drink.

Great craft beer, with knowledgeable staff about the brewing process. Standard pub food. Great service! Definitely worth a stop if you find yourself in Galena!!

The restaurant offers a limited vegan menu, but we tried a small appetizer of hummus without naan bread and it was delicious. The beer selection was fantastic! We are looking forward to going back to try the vegan crab dish and enjoy a few more beers. The service was good and our food arrived quickly. We are deducting one star for the lack of vegan options on the menu, but overall we had a great experience.

Saturday evening, we stopped by Galena Brewing Co for a quick drink and to enjoy some live music. The bartender, who we unfortunately didn't catch the name of, provided excellent service. When my mother ordered an ice water, he was very attentive and even checked in to see if she was feeling okay. He offered to whip up a non-alcoholic drink to help settle her upset stomach, but fortunately she was fine, just emotional. The bartender continued to be attentive throughout the night, ensuring we were well taken care of. Overall, great service and we definitely plan on returning!
