Although the drinks received positive remarks, many noted that the food varied from merely acceptable to outright dreadful. Cleanliness and organization were frequently called into question, as were the cooking standards in an open kitchen. However, some patrons praised the friendly staff and enjoyed the live music, suggesting that while the establishment has potential, it still requires significant improvements to fully satisfy. A second chance may be in order for this evolving venue.
We have an online reservation for 8:45 clock only to find out when the kitchen closes by 9 clock. we were rushed to order, nothing could get more than 9 o'clock. we tried to order kartoffel at 9:02 a.m. and the left side of the cook was already taken down over the objects and was out of the door to clean up already. my eating was undercooked and was told to the cook that he could adapt it, but would stop cleaning first. I wasn't comfortable that my food went back to a half-cleaned kitchen to cook. the server tried to be nice, but I was very, very disappointed.
Food was good; but seems too preplated without enough options i.e. baking potato vs mashed potatoes. Menu needs more vegetarian and vegan selections.
I greatly enjoyed our dining experience! The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the live music was awesome! I would definitely go back the next time I m in Galena!
The hostess greeted us. I told her we had a reservation. She didn't know about any reservation. I booked the reservation through OpenTable. Service felt hurried even though the place wasn't crowded. We felt rushed to order our drinks. Then we were rushed to order our food. It felt like she was trying to get rid of us just when we got seated. We were there to eat and enjoy the live music. The waitress' name was Debbie. FOOD WAS GREAT !!!
Great beer and food. Loved our Reubens! Live entertainment was enjoyable. We were a family of 3 with a 7 year old child and we all had a great time.
