Look no further, this is the best taverna in Chania. All authentic Cretan dishes. Generous portions, fresh sourced ingredients, friendly atmosphere, and wonderful staff. MUST TRY dishes are Bacaliaros, Stuffed Zucchini Flowers, Cretan Salad, Gigante Beans, Mousaka, Skordalia. We dined here 4 times over our 1 month stay in Crete. This place is truly a gem. Dinner October 2022, after a fabulous 7 hours of walking in the Samaria gorges, the bus, the car, no desire to go to Chania, so found it by chance following the reviews No more room, disgusted, the owner catches up with us and clears two tables from the fridge so we can sit down, so nice. And we had a great evening Excellent traditional Greek cuisine with generous portions, for a more than reasonable price, without forgetting the family atmosphere. Special mention for the moussaka, certainly one of the best eaten in Crete, and the lamb stew in white wine a treat
