Portions are large and flavors notable, though prices lean high. However, repeat problems with inconsistent spice customization and alarming food-safety lapses (foreign objects) alongside occasional inappropriate on-screen content for children temper the praise. Worth visiting for the food, but safety and customization issues should be addressed.

We’ve always found the food in Spice life to be fresh and tasty, good portion size. A lot of people come here with young children. I think the management can be mindful of the music videos shown on screen (they’re inappropriate for younger children).
It was indeed a great experience overall. Literally made my day and will visit again for sure. I tried a vegetarian bowl with my wife and The lemon rice, chana masala, butter naan, and onion kulcha were amazing. Gulab Jamuns were awesome (3 pieces in oneplate). It has South Indian options too like Dosa and Uthappam. Will definitely try something else later.
I HAVE EATEN HERE RETURNED ATLEAST 20+ TIMES, AND BROUGHT WITH ME 10 FRIENDS ON SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE STAFF WELCOME ME WITH A SMILE AND ASK ME HOW IVE BEEN EVEY SINGLE TIME, AND DIFFERENT STAFF TOO! THIS IS MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN GAITHERSBURG AREA.THE BOWL IS UNBEATABLE. I LOVE THE BUTTER CHICKEN, THE GARLIC NAAN, BIRIYANI. THE BOWL IS AMAZING, SO MUCH FOOD, BUT THE REST OFTHE MENU IS ALSO SO AUTHENTIC. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SPICE LIFE. HIDDEN GEM. THEY NEED TO START AN INSTAGRAM. ????????????????. YOUWILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED COMING HERE. (This bowl is about 2x as heavy as a chipotle bowl)
