They offer free tours of their chocolate factory on weekends! The chocolate is delicious and you get to try some during the tour. The staff is very knowledgeable about chocolate, the different types, and the production process. This place is a hidden gem in the Kentlands area, I will definitely be returning. View all feedback.
What Jo C doesn't like about Spagnvola:
Chocolates here are very pricey. A chocolate bar will cost you $10. The factory tour is not free. Cost me $15. I bought a 10 oz. can of hot chocolate mix and it cost me $27.55. It was not so good and wouldn't dissolve in the milk when I made a cup. View all feedback.
I have ordered chocolates from here before for gifts but never had any myself. Finally tried some today and the truffles are rich and delicious. Will be ordering again!
I have to write that the chocolates are quite good but overall they aren't amazing which at the current price point, I can't see myself ordering from this shop again. However, I admit that I'm lucky because I have consumed some of best chocolate from around the world. Perhaps, I'm biased because they messed up my order and they didn't give me 2 of each what they promised to place in my order. I was shortened on their best sellers, I wanted to tried 2 white peach chocolates pieces and there was only 1 in the box and 3 of something that I didn't enjoy so I have to write a bad review based on principle. Look if you live in the area of the shop then I would recommend checking it out. Although I feel the favors are insipid and they shouldn't be ordered if you need to pay for shipping. This in response to the owner who replied to my review: 1) I respect your response, in terms of the selection of chocolate but when you buy fine chocolates, you pay a premium. So, I'm not buying candy at my local CVS or retail shop as you elegantly put it before thus I expect premium service. Thus my experience of was hampered by not consuming missing pieces that I expect to be present in the box. Finally, I am the customer thus I right when I am wrong thus your argument isn't strong enough. 2) Your next point is fair because I have paid twice the amount for the same quality. However, you need a refined palate to truly enjoy the product that you create. Now, I will admit that I eat an entire 24 box of bonbons in a day and I understand that your chocolate is very good. However, a criticism that is present through yelp is the taste of your chocolate is subtle and not over-whelming, which I agree with. Honestly, I wasn't impressed with the product and I don't see myself re-buying it. You can make something simpler without as much attention that can taste better. I'm sorry but the best ingredients and a lot time invest in making it doesn't product the best product all the time. 3) Yes, I purchased a 24 box of bonbons and 24 box of truffles. So, I did take advantage of free shipping. Thus I can't really argue this point. My thinking was that I learned about your brand from the National Geographic list of best shops and I consumed the majority of chocolate from that listing. Unfortunately your chocolate was my least favorite that I ate so far, therefore I can't recommend it to others that only have a basic understanding of chocolate.
Mind-blowing chocolates here, unlike anything I've ever tried before! I went on the tour with a friend and it was really cool and informative. The story of SPAGnVOLA is very heart-warming, too. You can really see the effort that goes into the products they make. And their pure enjoyment in the business translates into their output as well. The chocolate itself is rich and has this underlying tropical, almost fruity, tone that you could never ever find in processed, sugar filled chocolates from the grocery store. Even the fancier brands like lindor and Ferrero have nothing on Spag! Their truffles are so creamy, and melt in your mouth upon first bite. I really enjoyed the basil truffle surprisingly! It was a subtle but unique flavor combination that I wanted tons more of. And they have tons more interesting flavors to choose from. Even though the salted caramel was a pretty basic flavor to try, I actually found that one really yummy as well. The caramel flavor was deep and addicting. Treat your sweetie to some of these next time you're in the area.

This place is amazing! Awesome baristas and amazing coffee drinks of all sorts. Never have had tried the chocolate or gelato but it looks great. This is a hidden gem! You must try it for a sweet treat or boost of energy. My favorite cafe in MoCo for sure.
