First visit Dosa Chaat in Gaithersburg, tried Dosa which crispy and good. Pav Bhaji was ok not as tasty I was expecting. Pani puri was fine too could be much better. But for sure you won't be disappointed with the quality. Will visit again soon View all feedback.
What Shivakar Puram doesn't like about Dosa Chaat Indian Cafe:
I just went to purchase mango lassi, and as usual just paid it and surprised with the price. I asked receptionist is it correct price and she laughed at me and said I know it is expensive here! I think this os the most expensive mango lassi I have seen!If airlines add Mango lassi in their paid menu I think their price would be cheaper. And yes quantity is less than decent quantity! I just got veg puff at 11:30AM today. It was ice cold inside and out. If you are going to charge 3 times more than your peers then at least serve some good food. Disappointing.
Fresh, tasty and original Indian street good! Me and my wife loved the Masala Chaat and the Majestic Chicken. This place is indeed underrated.
My recent visit to this Indian restaurant left me with mixed feelings. The establishment's unique layout, featuring a bakery at the entrance and the dining area next door, initially piqued my interest. Eager to explore their offerings, I ordered two dishes: the Veg Hakka noodles and the parotha taco.Starting with the parotha taco, I was taken aback by its size considering the $15 price tag. It appeared disappointingly small, particularly when considering that each individual taco costs $5. The value for money here left much to be desired, as I was expecting a heartier portion. As for the Veg Hakka noodles, I was looking forward to a satisfying blend of flavors. Unfortunately, the dish was marred by an overwhelming taste of black pepper powder. The excessive use of this spice drowned out the other flavors and made the dish almost unbearable. Regrettably, I found myself unable to finish it due to the overpowering pepper taste. While the restaurant's concept is intriguing and the bakery section is a nice touch, the execution of the dishes fell short of expectations. The parotha taco's size and value, combined with the Hakka noodles' overpowering flavor, left me unsatisfied with my dining experience. I hope the restaurant takes these aspects into consideration to enhance the overall quality of their offerings.
NEVER GET THE PAU BHAJI or PANEER BUTTER MASALA, the restaurant uses tomato puree instead of real tomatoes to make their gravies and it tastes horrible. This is not real indian food. There is not even chairs inside to wait for your food. Also, the quanties of the food are not worth it. This place is literally flavorless, i wouldnt recommend and the people that make the cakes and run the register are rude. I purchased the largest cake ever for a big house warming party. The worker did not close the box correctly and when I opened the cake, the writing was messed up. I complained to them and they told me that they would not even give me a partial refund. IF YOU WANT INDIAN FOOD GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. IF YOU WANT AN EGGLESS CAKE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THERE IS A PLACE CALLED CLASSIC BAKERY IN GAITHERSBURG, THEY HAVE THE BEST OREO VEGAN CAKE. GET IT FROM THERE. NEVER GO TO DOSA AND CHAAT OR HOT BREADS EVER AGAIN
