Don Pollo - Gaithersburg

We ordered a whole chicken with two sides. The chicken was well marinated and juicy. Fried yuca was crispy. Plantain was sweet and with quality. It was our first time and we will come back.

I like how clean this place is. I come here almost every week and never get tired of their juicy, delicious chicken. My favorite sides are the cucumber salad and corn pico. They are very fresh and taste yummy. Also love all their other side dishes fries are hands down the best I have tried.

I must say that the facility is very clean and the kitchen that the staff is attentive and helpful. The food is not to mention the chicken is one of the richest I have tasted in my life very rich and juicy My order was half a chicken with two companions and two empanadas to say that the Arros is very good, but the cabbage is not so good. In my order I have included 2 empanadas, one of cheese and another. The chicken is both very tasty, so the food is very good. I'll be a client of this city as long as I live.

This place is not as good as a Sardi's, but they check most boxes. The chicken was not on the hot (temperature) side as I like it, but everything was fine.

I love this place. I don't live in the area anymore, but when I come back, I always meet Don Pollo. Great skin on the chicken, juicy but not “wet”, and the curtains are always boiled until caramelized and tender. YUM
