Contribute Feedback What Luce Ruggiero doesn't like about Osteria Il Bandito:
I would never eat at this restaurant. Save your time and your . The waiter with the glasses was the rudest server I had in Italy. If I was the owner I would fire him. There is a better restaurant 5 minutes away called Le cose Buone. View all feedback.
Pochi fronzoli, si bada al sodo. Osteria tipica toscana con piatti e sapori forti della tradizione della zona del Chianti. Porzioni molto generose servizio famigliare e prezzo onesto. Consigliatissimo.
This is an amazing little hidden gem. My husband and I came for a wine tasting at the winery next door and had no idea what was in store for us when we decided to grab lunch. Everything tasted molto buono, especially the cheesecake, which is like nothing I’ve ever tasted. Simply amazing! Additionally, this is a family run business. They’re incredibly friendly and very sweet. We very much enjoyed ourselves and are happy to have stumbled upon this place!
This was the best meal of our trip. Each course was brilliant and very well priced when compared to the rest of Tuscany. The atmosphere on the terrace was lovely, with a brilliant view over the Tuscan hills. This is a quaint family restaurant and the honest, welcoming service reflects that.
I don't understand so many positive opinions. The dishes are oversalted and distasteful. Two stars instead of one only for the beautiful view from a terrace.
If you are in Gaiole in Chianti, you should try this restaurant. It offers a wide variet of local dishes of best quality. Good wines to choose as well. However, it's better to prebook a table!
