You don't go to Waffle House expecting fine dining, but surprisingly, you often get an incredible experience. The staff is fantastic, the food is tasty, and it's just a great place to be. What User doesn't like about Waffle House:
The breakfast was quite good for a Waffle House. I ordered the five-star breakfast with grits and toast. The grits were thick and lumpy, as usual. The waitress was fine; she could have been a bit friendlier, and I noticed that none of the staff were as welcoming as those in other Waffle Houses I've visited. Overall, it was a good experience. Waited over 15 min and no one would wait for bus tables or acknowledge that the people were waiting at the door. absolutely the worst waffel house I was in.
The cook-fixing-hautbrowns likes after the transition with raw meat, and no! they do not change their gloves. they fix cheeses to the same wise. they will not change the glove with raw meat, then take it broth to make toast or whatever. they do not change gloves between raw meat. I always sit on the bar to watch. I've been watching for years.
Great food and great service. Here from out of town and they are close so we've tried almost every variety. Can't beat the 24\7 hours.
Usually it is awesome. This day I walked in to a server being very rude to a customer. I thought it was very unprofessional,set a bad tone and vibe for the establishment so I left and went to IHOP.
Got rained on a little due to a leaky roof, but the food and service was good. was good and the staff was nice looking too.
