Texas Roadhouse - Gainesville

Regretfully, especially on the NY day, with a kid... I wouldn't give more than 2 stars, but the staff there is very nice. Otherwise totally disappointing: the main specialty (Full Slab or something like that) looking great, but feeling as if it was cooked a loooong time ago, frozen, and cooked again...No taste, the meat falling off the ribs... However, the main disappointment was the kid's mini cheeseburger: the bread looked like it had been already bitten off before, and then saved for the next client... Spiced with a thick, long black hair... My son thank God did not eat eat it (for no apparent reason). I saw the hair only when trying to pack the burger for carrying it away... A VERY long wait... But the meat did not seem to be just off the grill when delivered, the shrimp side orders were plain cold... Not coming there again... Even if there is no waiting list, a huge and total surprise for me: the place seems to be outrageously popular, and now I wonder why???? To suffer from the icy air conditioner blowing straight onto your head, and giving you a sore throat, a noticeable headache, and all other cold symptoms within 10 minutes???

This review is to go to an order!! I ordered extra sauces ranch, honey mustard and extra butter. We didn't get them. We had 6 rolls with a small cup of butter. Also in demand for plastic clothing. We ordered 4 meals they gave us one thing of plastic clothing. I called and just let someone know he's checking the orders twice. I also ordered loaded pommes with the two Burger meal times. We paid for that extra. Well, I'll get a picture of them. To pay extra for loaded pommes, you would think that the whole order would have cheese and bacon, one they not only 1 big steak fry. We saw that too. The last straw was that our burgers are well done. I ate a bite of the burger and it was raw inside. We were so disappointed that we threw away our meals. I know the times are hard, and sometimes the staff is short, but that is unacceptable. It wasn't a Burger King cheese burger. This meal cost our family a lot of money.

First off we waited 17mins before anyone bring us some bread or ask us what we wanted to drink. I had to ask someone to serve us. It was me and my girlfriend. After we order our drink and food we still didn?t get our drink. I had to ask for the drink because our waiter was to busy flirting with the female staff. We had already gotten our appetizer and sides but no drink. We still left the waiter a $20 tip but just realize something that could had been $50 if the service was good. I?ve only left a $60 tip to one waitress a month ago because her service was excellent. I come here with my girlfriend once every two week sometimes once every week. This was the first time I had issue here. I?m not going to put his name down because I don?t want to get him in trouble but do a better job next time. He know who I?m talking about. Don?t complain if you do t get a good tip because next time I will Tip lower.

My daughters favorite place to eat so I decided to take her to dinner while home on college break. Her steak was burnt, waitress rarely checked in and didn?t fulfill anything we really asked her for such as even a first refill on tea, to go order was never placed obviously as even when my daughters steak finally was re cooked and sent out, we still didn?t have our to go order. Asked for a manager twice with no luck. The bartender finally came over to our table and was going to look for our to go order when the waitress came flying over and rudely says ?I hope your day gets better? as she tossed the bag on the table with our to go order and immediately walked away. Even the bartender was shocked with her attitude. Get home and as my family member opened their to go order BURNT!!

This place is terrible do not recommend our food was cold and also we waited over 2 hours for our food and the food was disgusting do not recommend
