I had been hearing that this place was really good and finally had the opportunity to try it yesterday. They had a shrimp special that we tried and I ordered some chowder and a blackened grouper sandwich. The chowder was really good. Fresh seafood at really great prices. They also have on fridays a fish or shrimp fry with delicious cheese grits and hush puppies! Highly recommended!

I’ve been “qualified” by staff here on more than one occasion. First time this happened I came here after work wearing my grubby work clothes. Was the last person to be waited on, practically ignored. I let it go.Second time happened today. Owner/manager guy was nice as pie. Unfortunately the person serving me maybe thought I couldn’t “afford” the portion of raw shrimp I was asking for. I had to ask her *three* times for more shrimp for what I was planning to cook.Look I’m from Florida. Right here. I’m not some old Yankee trying to be a cheapskate on seafood for my family. Ended up with 7 shrimp per person. Y’all know that ain’t enough!!
The seafood here is incredibly fresh and priced very reasonably. They also offer a delightful fish or shrimp fry on Fridays, paired with delicious cheese grits and hush puppies! I highly recommend this place!
I really enjoy the fish when it’s fresh! Just be sure to choose good quality fish.
