Caribbean Spice - Gainesville

I wasn't in many Caribbean restaurants in gainesville, yet I think there are many places first, but you eat is pretty good! I would definitely come back for more joking and coco-bread loaves, and I look forward to tasting the famous gempatties and ochsenschwanz next time. very good portions at a low price, staff are friendly. veggie patties are great! braised oxtail is good, but I prefer the jerk chicken:

We followed our nose and eat here for lunch. what a tasty bite. the owner chris and the rest of the crew were extremely courteous and welcoming. this is a switched-off, family-run restaurant with a limited special menu. this is a good thing because quality, efficiency and prices suffer when there are too many items on a menu. Too many restaurants make this tragic mistake. I have an extensive culinary background myself, I believe they do an excellent work. we ordered the big Ruck chicken plate and a bark patty. the price was very reasonable and it fed us two well. Please note that I was afraid and had eaten some of the chicken before I took the picture. the big comes with two drumsticks and two upper legs.

My friend recommended to try Caribbean flavor. I have to say it's phenomenal! the jerk chicken was just right with the cauliflower, rice and buzz. interior design was clean and cozy. the personal was super friendly and also owner.

New location. the same owner. extended menu. delicious. the first time that I had ever been lying was in the late 80s at the university at a suburb. every bit as good today as it was.

The beef and cheese patties are life changing!! I pick up 2 dozen every time I pass through Gainesville! Heck, I make special trips to Gainesville just for them!!
