Contribute FeedbackOverall, the restaurant has a lovely view and is perfect for breakfast with friendly and accommodating staff. However, some guests were disappointed with the food quality and service. There were issues with unavailable entrees, overcooked steaks, and tasteless side dishes. On the other hand, the crab cakes and oyster selection received high praise, as did the Sunday Brunch. The upscale ambience and outstanding service were highlighted, making it a nice alternative to other restaurants in the area. While there were some hiccups with certain dishes and service, the restaurant did offer to make amends in some cases, such as providing gift certificates for future visits. Ultimately, the experience seemed to vary depending on individual visits, but the potential for a good meal and atmosphere was evident.
Eating is great. the service is bad. they serve very slowly
Very good service of waiter, owner/cook, formed us on steak options fantastic descriptions of meat cuts types of oyster
Great discovery in gainesville. steaks were delicious. would like to come back.
I've been and I've enjoyed my meal every time. I invited my customers to this occasion and our server seemed distracted. he did not serve my customers water. he didn't offer a brot, we had to ask. both steaks were over cooked and had to be ordered again. I was disappointed with this visit.
It is nice to have a fine dining restaurant on the west side of Gainesville. The well appointed restaurant is perfectly matched with the high level of service, knowledgable wait staff, quality and preparation of food and attention to detail of the owner.
