It seemed like the restaurant was a bit short-staffed, especially since she was also taking care of tables in addition to the busy bar. However, our food and drinks arrived in a timely manner, and she was very friendly, letting us know that there was only one person in the kitchen, which meant the food would take a little longer than usual. We appreciated the heads-up and didn’t mind the wait. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely be back.

However, when our order arrived, the server apologized, explaining that it contained only 3 small tortillas, cut in half, giving us a total of just 6. I recommend not sharing the appetizers or ordering two just for yourself. Store-bought tortillas are usually around 6 inches in diameter, yet the ones we received were about 4 inches and then halved. It's a good thing they have two dedicated servers who support each other because the portions seemed quite small at this late hour. We might consider returning to this location, but I advise always checking how many pieces come with your order. Despite the menu images showing 8 regular-sized pieces, you may only receive 6 small ones. I could tell the kitchen was also under-staffed, which must be tough for the staff. Just keep in mind not to be in a rush or overly hungry; the food is about 4 stars, but the service is definitely 5 stars! Hats off to the server for their excellent work! Otherwise, this restaurant would probably only rate 3 stars.

Both entr... read more We arrived around 7 PM on a Friday and received quick and friendly service. We took advantage of the 2 for $35 deal and ordered four alcoholic drinks. Both entrees were delicious and worth the extra charge for the blackened chicken and salmon. Although the drinks were a bit lighter on the alcohol, they were still enjoyable. The atmosphere felt like a typical neighborhood spot on a Friday, with lively pop and rap music that wasn’t loud enough to drown out conversation. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience, with excellent service and high-quality entrees.
