Family style restaurant. Homemade food. We had the hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The roast beef was real roast not lunch meat, real potatoes! Coleslaw was also very good. Service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly. Even the other customers were very friendly. This is now our go to restaurant. It's so nice that there's still little family restaurants still going strong. View all feedback.

I have eaten at Helen's a few times and have really enjoyed their food, however I had heard about their catering and was interested in getting my wedding catered by them. I have made 2 different tasting appointments with the owner and she forgot about my appointment both times. I understand being busy, but the lack of communication and effort is just not permissible. Very disappointed View all feedback.
Been coming here for over a decade, always had really good southern favorites. Highly recommend their burger!

Very busy, a Friday night. AYCE catfish. The pies where wonderful!
We ordered the big fish sandwich. The fried mushrooms. Helen's club sandwich hamburger steak and onion rings.. The food we ate here was so good I highly recommend this restaurant if you have not tried it... Great service and great food!!
If you're looking for an honest taste of the bible belt kitchen culture in the middle of Tennessee I highly recommend to visit Helens kitchen. Wonderful delicious handmade food from Apetizer unto Desserts. Just phenomenal and a lovely atmosphere to be surrounded by true locals who seem to visit this place more often than once a month! Thank you for the beloved hospitality You have to taste the house made lemonade!
