Ty Cymraeg (Welsh House) A nice welcome, and nice food. One of a few Welsh teashops in Gaiman. Serves lovely tea and Welsh cakes. Old-fashioned Welsh fare, and reasonably priced.

Don't go, waste of time, very breeze everything, the quality of cakes is mediocre, the place does not represent the classic you gales.

We were recommended this tea house by someone who had been there 8 years ago. a mistake ( as was Gaiman generally - little to see and do and not worth the bus fare from Trelew ). our friends with Welsh connections were so disappointed. it seems it has new owners. we had the full afternoon tea described by others. none of the cakes were home made, the music wasn't Welsh, the lady serving us struggled to speak English, never mind Welsh and I had to translate from the Spanish, the men's toilet was blocked with you know what, and at A$180/head it was daylight robbery. apart from that it was excellent
