After reading the reviews I had high expectations, but it did not really live up to the hype. It is fine, but almost pretend to be a much finer dining that it is. It was a god try to use local ingredients that almost hits the mark. The fried potatoes and bread is great. It could have potential. The service we got pulled down a little the grade. That was amazing! Fresh, local products, ecological and all beautifully presented well decorated dishes. I had the fillet of beef with fresh vegetables and super delicious desert with herbal sauce
At first I have to say that I loved the ambience of this place. I stopped for lunch and sat next to the window, on a nice sunny day, so I was already happy before the food arrived. I'm a big fan of bread and butter! Let Haha come. I had the duck I didn't love, but the pages were delicious! I wish it had been crispy as it was on the menu or fish with the amazing pages that would be a great combination. Nevertheless, the service was excellent and it was perfect to relax and read my book in the sun.
The food in this first-class restaurant is Gävles best and surely the lunch menu is fantastic. Although the service is impeccable, it is certainly the limits of minimal, but so customers seem to like it in this part of Sweden. It is not a noisy place, so keep the traveller's stories to a minimum and instead focus on the innovative and delicious food.
