What Debra O doesn't like about Mckinney Doyle Corner Bakery Fine Foods Cafe In Pawl:
Meat in the turkey cranberry sandwich was rubber. Sliced from a loaf (thick sliced) and heated up. Horrible. The smokehouse omelette was dry. My husband asked for jam for the toast. Server left and never came back. So surprising since in the past food was excellent. Had to ask the seating hostess for check. What happened??? Food used to be great. To be fair they took the turkey sandwich off the bill. But I didn’t eat... View all feedback.

Coming as a child, I used to love their breakfast, the atmosphere and bakery. I hadn 't been to dine-in in almost 10 years and was excited to go back! After this past weekend, I 'll probably not be returning. We went for breakfast on Sunday a little later, around 9:30, we always enter through the bakery and was happy to see a bunch of empty booths that I sat in as a kid. I asked for a booth for 2. The older hostess didn 't give us an INCH. She was extremely rude and unprofessional stating she had a table in the back, I asked again to clarify, since there were several booths available. I understand how you might think that but they 're reserved I 'm sorry, but the ENTIRE front dining room is reserved? And to not even offer so much as a if you don 't mind waiting 10-15 min for a booth or I have a booth for an hour, is that okay? I would have waited for a booth to clear that WASN 'T reserved. So we sat in the new part of the dining area with no windows, no character and a bad taste in our mouth. After we were done, we walked past the booths on our way out and surprise surprise, THE BOOTHS WERE EMPTY. Hire professional service workers or don 't pride yourself on being the best place in town.
Thanks to the team who provided an excellent birthday dinner for my dad last night! We were a large group with a late reservation and they really took care of us. Food, drinks, and dessert were on point and they were extremely kind in not rushing us out of there even though we were the last table. Really appreciate you all making the night special!
The fish and chips were okay, but I thought $50 dollars per person for a Saturday brunch was a bit high.
Dan was so welcoming! Fantastic service and the best Chai Latte I've ever had.
