Terranea Resort, A Destination

Spent a few days at Terranea Resort and honestly, it was just what I needed. The location is unbeatable—right on the coast with views that make you want to just sit and stare all day. The vibe here is laid-back but with a touch of luxury. The rooms are super comfortable and have everything you need without going overboard. I loved that I could relax without feeling like I had to be fancy all the time. The staff were friendly and there when you needed them, but never in your face. It’s the little things like that which made the stay feel personal and easygoing. If you’re thinking about getting away and just want to chill by the ocean with some good views and good vibes, Terranea is spot on.

I recently had the most incredible weekend at Terranea Resort, and I can't stop raving about it! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the breathtaking beauty of the location, perched on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The views were simply stunning, and every part of the resort seemed designed to maximize that natural beauty. Our room was luxurious and spacious, with a balcony that offered an unobstructed view of the ocean. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing against the shore was truly magical. The staff at Terranea went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and pampered throughout our stay. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. We spent our days lounging by the pool, indulging in spa treatments, and exploring the scenic walking trails around the property. The dining options were exceptional as well; every meal was a delight, from fresh seafood to delicious farm-to-table dishes. The resort also had a range of activities that catered to both relaxation and adventure, making it perfect for any type of traveler. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Terranea Resort for my birthday weekend, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The resort's stunning location, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, provided a breathtaking backdrop for our stay. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the spa. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was serene and inviting. Our accommodations in a casita were equally amazing. The casita was beautifully decorated and the private outdoor space allowed us to enjoy the stunning views in complete relaxation. Thank you to all of the helpful and professional staff including Nick, the resort manager who made sure the stay was extra special. Highly recommend!

5 star resort with 1 star parking. Valet is $27 for the day. There’s only one tiny free parking lot and 4 or so valet parking lots. Each valet parking lot has a different payment system. Very confusing. Added like half an hour to my journey on either end. Expensive and not worth the service. Give your valet team a break and allow a simple parking meter. Would have saved so much time, money and annoyance.
