What a great place to eat!! Older interior but VERY clean which is the most important…besides good hot food. Great waiter! Coffee/water was always filled!The coffee is fresh and water tasted swell!! Farmers Omelette was oversized: and hashbrowns ohhhhh so good!! My son had the CornFlakes, donut french toast with a delicious syrup..not traditional style syrup. Service was excellent. Friendly But unfortunately I got the Steak skillet and end it up with food poisoning did not call the restaurant. Slowly for hours The pain was incredible. My husband had a little of it but he only took a couple of bite. It had to work its way through me for the rest of the evening. Years ago a friend of mine got food poisoning there and since I never went back and I thought It's time I go back... View all feedback.
Best hometown place I have been too great family service
Amazing staff and service every time we go!! Booster seats are sanitized between children as well. Can't wait to go back with the family!

Love this restaurant the two younger men who run it are very welcoming and friendly. The food is absolutely Amazing. Wish they had gluten free bread since I'm sensitive but overall i highly recommend this place.
My wife and I recently visited the Chicago area and had breakfast at The Original Granny's. Everything was great. Being from the South, if I tell you they had the best sausage gravy I've ever had then it's got to be good.
