I have had better fish and chips before, but this was definitely the most expensive at £8 for haddock and chips! When compared to my usual chippy, there is no competition. The batter was soggy and the chips had black bits in them. The fish itself was tasty, but for that price, I expected more. Always pleasant staff..... Properly cooked fish and chips not boxed to steam but served in paper as they should be.... I deliberately pass several other chippies to get mine from here.
