I have had better fish and chips before, but this was definitely the most expensive at £8 for haddock and chips! When compared to my usual chippy, there is no competition. The batter was soggy and the chips had black bits in them. The fish itself was tasty, but for that price, I expected more. After reading some negative reviews, I was a bit apprehensive, but my experience at this restaurant was wonderful. The portions were generous – a large order of fish and chips was enough for two people. The service was friendly, and the fish and chips were freshly cooked and delicious. I couldn't comprehend the negative reviews I had read before.
