The staff are always super friendly and... read more This is a great pub and I'm very happy to call it my local. They have a great menu and plenty of drinks to choose from. The staff are always super friendly and very efficient. One good tip, keep an eye on their current specials on the website or Facebook page, they have some cracking food on there

I... read more I ordered the steak and ale pie listed as coming with chips and seasonal veg. It arrived absolutely swimming in garlic butter the smell alone knocked me sick. I mentioned it to our server who just said yeah comes with seasonal veg. Yes but no mention of said veg swimming in garlic or I would have ordered something else. I left most of the meal. When the plates were collected another member of staff asked if everything was ok because I’d left most of my meal. I told her about the garlic butter and her response was oh yeah well if you come again we can do it without. How can I order a meal without something that’s not even listed as being there on the menu???? I spent £16 on a meal that I couldn’t eat and left hungry and very angry. Will not be returning.
