Went for a trip with friends and ended up spending 3 hours there. It is a shame more people do not go. Breakfast was excellent freshly cooked and tasty and special offer of 2 traditional breakfasts for £14. This place also has a Waitrose outlet which was surprisingly well stocked. Lots of different outlets on the different floors. Garden section could do with a bit of tidying up from a gardening perspective rosés nee... View all feedback.
What karno821 doesn't like about Dobbies Garden World Preston:
Gave this place another try as I was stupid enough to sign up for their card . Please for the love of god employ decent cleaners . It’s so dirty , no wonder there’s flies everywhere . Staff need training , they shouldn’t be bringing food and drink out and ignoring the dirty dishes on the next table . The tables can’t clean themselves. View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is decent, but the building is always very cold in winter, causing most people to keep their coats on.
I visited this restaurant for the first time before a football game. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and a cheerful "good morning." I enjoyed a delicious coffee and breakfast, and the customer service was exceptional. I was so impressed that I even asked to speak to the manager to share my satisfaction.
Disappointing visit , No atmosphere, dirty tables floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned . Was a lunchtime visit evident food stuff on floor from previous day . Need to condense cafe for a more pleasant experience
The menu offers a variety of options to suit everyone's taste buds. Customers can place their own orders, but the main course is served at the table. Give it a try!
A quick visit with my friend and her little one for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I’ve never been to Dobbies before and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was a little underwhelmed at the whole place really. There wasn’t much atmosphere, it wasn’t particularly busy and the staff weren’t particularly friendly and or helpful in the cafe. Cafe was busy, but empty dirty tables weren’t cleared quickly. we chose to sit outside, which seemed an inconvenience to the staff serving…. We had a couple of sandwiches/ toasties which were OK.. reasonably priced so I can’t complain but nothing special and the bread was really cheap white bread. Fish finger sandwich was again, cheap breaded fish fingers.. I would have expected fresh ones. Cakes looked expensive so we just bought a cake from the Waitrose outlet to take home with us. I don’t think I’d bother popping by again. I’d rather pay the extra and go up to Barton Grange. This place could be so much better.
