My family of six (kids 17, 15, 12, 9) ate on a rainy day, trying to find somewhere with good authentic local food at a reasonable price ... bingo! The Swabian-style noodles were very tasty, the rump roast was delicious, and the kids enjoyed the spaghetti and roasted potatoes. The dinner salads were also very good. The hostess was very accommodating, offering to cook our food to accommodate vegetarians. We ate for 70... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Schwarzwaldtanne:
They have quite a large menu, of swabian, and general german food. Friendly staff, and a nice dining room. The food was good and well cooked, but not gourmet. This is a hotel, thus the restaurant also serves the half pension hotel guests. They do not have outside tables. View all feedback.
Hallo , the motorcycle group biker and friends, sarland can recommend this gasthof, eat, friendliness, service,! we come back!
Very friendly service, was freshly prepared and super delicious. Very recommended.
We stayed at the guest house for two nights and on the first night we ate here. My daughter was not feeling great so she elected to have some soup which was nice. I chose the Wiener Schnitzel which was cooked nicely but very salty....Whilst there are a lot of pages in the menu, there are slight variations of a few meals. E.g. The Wiener Schnitzel has multiple options; schnitzels, schnitzel, with chips or with bread, etc.
We had a dinner outside there on a Monday evening. Do not come too late, adviced not later than The menu is good with meat and salad and we tried several dishes: rumpsteak, turkey, mixed grill desserts (I recommend the appel pie) ..German beer ! Menu in English but Dessert menu only in German (but easily explained by the waitress)
Family restaurant, good food and good prices. The beer was cheap and the service was good with menus in several languages. Kind and staff.
