Feedback
Amazing vegetarian experience. Like an Omakase experience. Dishes are very fresh and combining intense flavors. Some are a bit heavy on vinegar. A wonderful experience and highly recommended!
One of the more memorable dining experience you eat at the counter which fits a max. of 12 people. Everyone has the same vegetarian dinner (with milk and egg products), much of it from the group's own gardens. On paper it's 9 courses, but we were treated to three rounds of appetizers, six dinner courses plus a surprise one, and three dessert courses after a first surprise dessert course 13 courses in total plus great bread (the John Baker crew helped with setting up the bakery). Many courses were outstanding food and presentation wise (like the Kohlrabi japaleno one, the potatoes and brokkolini one or the Japanese barley surprise), others are bold (like the bean, peppers, tomatinos one, which reminded us of a Bündner burrito, or the onion and leek one which subbed for a meat lover's main course) and the rare item wasn't so much for us, but it's an amazing dinner overall in an intimate, relaxed atmosphere during which you get to watch the artists (cooks) at work. Equally brave, as in sometimes so on the money and sometimes less, are the beverage accompaniments some of the best wines and non alcoholics you can get. Friendly crew, comfy setting and amazing and creative food what a special place for a vegetarian to enjoy! If there was one negative thing to point out, it would have to be that it got really very warm after a while. It would be great to open up a window to get in some fresh air.
