Met up with friends from the UK. We last ate here years ago when we stayed in the adjoining hotel. Steak on the stone was to die for. Scabbard fish was well cooked as was the chefs style prawns. Ample vegetables. Good value for money and the staff were available when we required them not when they thought they should be about. Oh and the Macaw was as friendly as ever. View all feedback.
Bar staff and door man with parrots very welcoming. Food was fabulous
Well priced tourist menu 3 courses for 20€50. We had the house white which was tasty too! Food was genuinely delicious, wish we had more nights and we would have visited again!
I had the traditional Madeira dish (Scabbard fish with Banana) and Fish Soup and it was delicious
A really nice traditional restaurant. We had the mixed grilled fish, superb, a real belly full. Very good service.
Bom atendimento e sopa de peixe deliciosa, mas o prato principal que é peixe espada preto com banana era muito doce, talvez devesse ser apenas o meu gosto pessoal. No geral foi uma boa experiência.
